Skegness And District Motorcycle Club was formed in 1959 by a group of
enthusiast that wanted to enjoy the sporting side of motorcycling whereupon the Skegness Motorcycle and Scooter Club was formed.
Some of the founder members still belong to this successful club where grass track and road races were run for many years.
The present membership is steadily growing and the main interests now are club social events biking trips, and bike related coach trips.
The highlight of the club year is the annual dinner and dance when around 200 members and friends get together at the Imperial Hotel Skegness on the last Saturday in January to reminisce over old times.
